As provided for by the NYS Education Law, Article 52-A, Section 2590-h.48, CCECs must meet with the NYCPS Chancellor once every two years to address the concerns of each community school district. This term, the CEC 16 and NYCPS Chancellor Melissa Aviles-Ramos will meet with families in-person on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 between 6:30 PM and 7:30 PM, to address the concerns of our Community School District 16.
This town hall will be hosted by MS 267 (Auditorium), at 800 Gates Avenue.
To ensure that we address the most pressing concerns of our community, we ask that you please take a moment to submit questions and comments for the Chancellor to us in the survey below. Our goal is to provide all your questions to the Chancellor's office before the event, so that the matters addressed during the town hall are those that are of the greatest interest to our school community.
We appreciate all the feedback that you are able to provide us, and your partnership in working to ensure that our families' concerns are listened to and that our children receive a nourishing educational experience. Please respond to this survey no later than Friday, June 06, 2025, at 5 PM.
